Set in rural Rajasthan, ‘Balika Vadhu’ traces the arduous journey of child bride of Jagdish, Anandi,  from the brink of childhood to womanhood, under the watchful eyes of Masa/Dadisa Kalyani Devi, Bhairavsa, Vasantsa and Sumitra, even as Teepri buasa tries to play her mother-in-law and Kalyani Devi fights a village/family rivalry with brother-in-law Mahavir.

‘Na Aana Iss Des Laado’ is a drama that deals with the social evil of female infanticide, gotra vivah, banjh women. It concentrates more on the problems faced by women in a patriarchal as well as matriarchal world.

Uttaran is the story of Ichcha, born in the slums of a city but one who desires much more than what her destiny has in store for her. Her mother, Damini, joins a rich household as a maid. Ichcha befriends Tapasya, the only daughter of the house.
